2015, our 31st year in business, has been a busy and eventful year. The year brought to completion two of our own design projects, Ben’s home and the Benjamin Nutter Architects Topsfield design studio. Co-located on Nutter Farm, both projects showcase our talent for design, our attention to detail and our appreciation for the surrounding environment that is at the core of each client design collaboration. 2015 also included a new website and logo. We made design changes to each that reflect the teamwork and vision that goes into each of our client’s projects. The four lite window reflects our firm’s goal to keep design clean, simple and elegant with an emphasis on timeless design, regardless of whether the design challenge is a historical restoration or a 21st century contemporary structure.
To celebrate our 31st anniversary milestone, Benjamin Nutter Architects kicked off a weekend of festivities on September 26th. Our entire team worked diligently to prepare for the big event. Saturday evening began with a special dinner in the barn highlighting local food and purveyors as well as organic vegetables grown right on Nutter Farm. Honored guests were clients, local artists and regional farmers. Sunday was a family-fun day on the farm that included an indoor gallery of local artists, interactive cooking demonstrations and walking tours of the Nutter Christmas Tree farm. The farm includes twenty acres preserved by a conservation restriction with Essex County Greenbelt Association. Guests were welcome to tour Ben’s home and the Benjamin Nutter Architects studio to enjoy the contemporary New England farmhouse design and surroundings.
Ben reflected on the first time he stood on the hill that is now home to Benjamin Nutter Architect’s studio, “It is rewarding to see the original design vision come to fruition with the home and studio tucked into the landscape in a complimentary and delicate manner”.
At Benjamin Nutter Architects, we are passionate about delivering excellence in both our design collaboration and service. It’s the reason why we enjoy long-term professional and personal relationships with so many of our clients.
